Three technical pieces carry the most weight this issue: a delineation of condition monitoring and digital twins versus AI, a semi-automated supervisory framework for in-situ surge-limit verification validated on records from seven industrial compressors, and an analysis of the causes of and engineering countermeasures for centrifugal compressor reverse rotation after a trip; cavitation acoustic monitoring, start-up torsional dynamics of asynchronous-motor-driven pumps and a pump-standards practice analysis round out the technical section. On the project side, IGGL's Baihata compressor house and control room entered service in India, and Siemens Energy won an order for 119 SGT-400 cores for mobile power packages, with first deliveries in 2027. In midstream, packaged-compressor lead times stretched to about 200 weeks with engine supply the bottleneck; Energy Transfer agreed to acquire Vaquero Midstream for $2.6 billion, and Enerflex won a behind-the-meter gas power award of over 1 GW for a data center; an IGU report puts about 67% of global gas production under methane regulations.
